Our mentors are young and dedicated. The average age of our mentors this year is 30! Many mentors were the first in their family to go to college. Primos are passionate about sharing their knowledge and skills with their mentees. They understand firsthand the difficulties of navigating their educational journey while balancing personal and family responsibilities. They are eager to give back to their community and help shape tomorrow’s leaders. |

In our fifth year, our focus remains on serving the Pleasant Grove area of Southeast Dallas, where the majority of our students reside. This part of town is particularly special to Primos founder, Alicia Serrato, as she grew up in Pleasant Grove. By focusing on a specific geographical area we are able to provide central meeting locations that are easily accessible to mentees and their families. Our mentees attend the following schools:
