Maria Izaguirre is a Pleasant Grove native and a proud DISD alumna. She earned bachelor's degrees in Human Rights, Psychology, and Sociology from SMU. Before joining Primos Dallas as the Mentoring Coordinator Intern, Maria was the Program Specialist for the President's and Mustang Scholars Programs at SMU. She also held a Post-baccalaureate Fellow position with the SMU Human Rights Program. Maria is currently a candidate for a Master of Science in Counseling at SMU.
When not working or studying, you can find Maria taking walks while listening to audiobooks, spending time with her dogs, reading, and trying new coffee shops in Dallas.
